What this website does not do
This website uses no analytics or tracking tools and loads nothing from third-party servers. Fonts and images are served from our own web space. The only cookie is the language cookie described below.
Language
When you open the home page, the server reads the language setting your browser sends (Accept-Language) and shows the page in that language if we have it, otherwise in English. Nothing is stored for this.
If you pick a language in the language menu, your browser stores a cookie named lang with the language code (for example de) for one year, so the website opens in that language next time. The cookie contains no other data and is not used for tracking. It is necessary for the function you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it in your browser settings at any time.
Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France. When you open a page, the server stores technical data for a short time: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, browser and operating system. We need this data to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with OVH. The log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for these purposes, usually within a few weeks.
Contacting us
When you call us, write an e-mail or message us, we use your details only to handle your request and the repair job (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We delete them when they are no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep them (for example invoices).
WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram and Facebook
The buttons on this website are plain links. Nothing is sent to these services until you tap a link. After that, the privacy policy of the service you chose applies: WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), Viber (Viber Media S.à r.l.), Telegram (Telegram FZ-LLC), Facebook (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Write to us at info@truckhelpandgo.de. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
